Kura: Healing Through Taino Land & Legacies centered the healing of Taino people as the first to encounter Columbus as we approached Indigenous People’s Day, formerly known as Columbus Day. Community members gathered for a series of workshops, art making, music, and meditative practices in collaboration with AM:PM Gallery as it debuted ‘Nueva York’ exhibition celebrating Latin artists based in the New York City area.
